I have been acting and singing since my initial stage debut battling a dragon at the tender age of 6. For the entirety of my life rarely has a year gone by that didn’t include my participation in a production, whether center stage (when I was 16 I won first place as Mezzo-Soprano in the Oregon State Voice competition) or backstage huddled amid costumes and Ben Nye greasepaint.

After graduating high school I went on to attend the University of Oregon, and after careful planning and an impressive amount of coffee I graduated a year early cum laude with a BA in Theater. During my condensed years at college I was involved with the UO School of Music, jamming out in gospel choir, and politely singing in University Singers, when I wasn't getting paid to to sing every Sunday for a local church. My fantastic professors in the theater department helped develop my passion and expertise for all aspects of theater, covering a comprehensive curriculum spanning theater history, dramaturgy, lighting, directing, and stage combat, in addition to rigorous acting training.

Immediately after graduating college I got my first major role as the lead in Brigadoon with the Oregon Festival of American Music, at the renowned 2,448 seat Hult Center. After Brigadoon closed, I moved to Ashland, Oregon, a beautiful, small town whose claim to fame is the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Here I continued to perform, as soloist for jazz bands and for a church, and performing in operas and musical theater. It was here I got the opportunity to work with Willene Gunn (formerly the Artistic Director of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music) as a part of Rogue Opera, taking workshops, and taking the stage in operas, flash-mob performances, and educational school tours.

After a couple years I decided to trade in trees for buildings and moved to New York in Fall 2010. It was in New York that I discovered my love for film acting, and the delights to be found in commercial work. I've continued my avid participation in film, improv, theater, cabaret, commercials, and voiceover in the New York area. I continue to study acting technique, and am proud to be part of the improv communities at  the Upright Citizen's Brigade and the People's Improv Theater.
